Boat Launches & Log Haul Out

There are three boat launches in McGrath. All of them present challenges due to the swift river current, steep bank or mud. The locations are: the Barge Landing downriver from Anderson Park, the AC Slip in downtown McGrath and the Log Haul Out, localled known as the "Rock Dock" up river off of Chinana Avenue. 

The Log Haul-out gets its name because it is a good location to pull floating trees from the river to cut for firewood.
